Georgetown, Kentucky is one of the most beautiful small towns located in the Central Kentucky Bluegrass Region. It is a mere 4 miles from the internationally acclaimed Kentucky Horse Park home of the 2010 World Equestrian Games.

You can Dine, Shop, and Enjoy this picturesque town that is home to the 100-year-old restaurant, Favas, known for it’s Friday night catfish dinners and Frickles and don’t forget the homemade pie. You will also find intimate coffee shops such as Lock & Key and Upbeat Cafe that serve lunch and have small gift shops inside. Galvin’s is the home of the Philly Cheesesteak and locally brewed beers. Thai Garden can provide a little spice in your life and if you are in a rush, Subway can accommodate you. If your mood is more upscale visit Rodney’s on Broadway for dinner. They have a wide variety of elegant entrees for that special occasion or visit the lounge area and patio with friends.

Wonderful small boutique shops can be found along Main Street and on the cross streets.Unique Gifts & More, Twisted Twigs, & Between Friends, are just a few. Children’s clothes, shoes and accessories size 0-14 and specially made invitations for any occasion are available at Seeds & Saplings Need fine jewelry? Stop in Cravens & Lewis or one of the many antique shops downtown. Don’t forget to pick up equine art including Derby photos at Hockensmith Photography.  Stained glass, lamp parts, and doll houses & accessories can be found at Heirlooms & Gretchens.  Country Peddler has candles, cards, and much more for the home. We even have shops to fix your computer, make you a sign, or get your hair and nails done! Just off Main you will find Georgetown College home of the Georgetown Tigers and the Store will provide all the game day wear you need. Be proud to wear Tiger orange and show your team spirit.

Feel you need a little exercise or a massage? Stop by the Studio on North Broadway next to Rodney’s for a little R&R. You can do boot camp or one on one training with Fitness Finally on East Main.

Art is abundant in this small town from the fine art collect at the Jacob’s Gallery on the college campus to local wonders at Art on Main , Anniemals, and the Scott County Arts and Cultural Center.  Local artisans work can be found in many of the downtown shops.

We also have a wealth of service oriented businesses to keep you looking good such as Sutra Salon on Water St. or the many salons on Main and at the Square. You can get your hair done, a set of nails, or a facial, all downtown!

Lawyers, CPA’s, Real Estate and more are also located downtown for your all your needs. You can even get your car detailed while you visit one of these businesses at K&K detailing.

You can even do your laundry downtown!
